Paris Paris n°6 – Moved In !!!!!!!

Unfortunately today is the day of bad surprises… there is no video 😦

The truth is the week’s been spent moving and unpacking and sorting and cleaning and everything that goes into it like I’m sure many people have lived through but that was truly a first for me (as well as starting the 2nd week of my new job!). Yeah I’ve moved a ton of times before, but I never had more than a couple of suitcases at most. This was the big Kahuna of moves. And well worth it !!

I had an idea for a great surprise but got sidetracked bundling up all my raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens into brown paper packages tied up with strings…

And wish it could have been as easy as in the Sword in the Stone…

BUT if you’ve been watching for a while, you might know that I’m not one that was used to living in Paris apartements that are (by definition)…not incredibly spacious. SO!

A new decor does a body good

And WILL be new and fabulous and wonderful and amazing and actually I have no idea because moving day is Tuesday.

When you’re stuck in the airport with nothing to do…

Social media is your absolute best friend. Seriously, what did people do before Wifi was bountiful — talk with each other?? Oh heavens.

I considered hosting a “Gaga fest” in the waiting area or a limbo contest or both, but unfortunately I left my limbo stick at home and don’t have enough hairspray to make my air nearly as laquered as Gaga’s.

Thankfully, some kickass people sent me things to help me pass the time, and seeing as it will probably be Saturday and you may also have nothing to do, I thought I’d share
